Oil change?

I drive a 2001 Toyota Corolla with 117,000 miles and use Mobil 1 synthetic oil.

Is it okay to change to Havoline Synthetic Motor Oil? Or would it be better to change to a non-synthetic oil- Havoline High Mileage Motor Oil which is designed for cars with more than 75,000 miles.|||I think you should change to Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic Motor Oil. It is a great product with the following benefits:

Superior* anti-wear protection, consistent engine performance and improved fuel efficiency.

Molecular uniformity of full synthetic formulation to maintain viscosity, for easier start-ups, even in extreme weather conditions (hot and cold).

Time-released molecules to continuously lubricate, cool, and clean, creating a cushion of protective lubrication against extreme high engine temperatures caused by stop-and-go driving and short trips.

Superior* resistance to shear under heavy loads to keep your engine running stronger, longer. And most importantly, Pennzoil Platinum鈩?is a full synthetic motor oil that meets or exceeds the latest industry performance standards. It has passed the most stringent tests that the vehicle manufacturers鈥?have to protect their vehicles.

Synthetic motor oils can be used occasionally or regularly and are accepted for all vehicles that use conventional motor oil. Pennzoil庐 Platinum鈩?motor oil can be used in virtually all gasoline engines, domestic and foreign.|||i would go with a major brand stay away from pennzoil

|||Mobil 1 is the best ,but you can use what you want just have to change it more often if it isn't a synthetic oil.|||You can use whichever. It would probably be a good Idea to use each of them and see which one your car performs better with. Other factors to consider maybe the type of driving you do, i.e. mostly highway or in city. Temperature also my play a factor too.|||Havoline is okay, but I'd always go with Castrol GTX. Always clean, very dependable.|||It's all good. Kind of like Cheeseburgers, the biggest difference is the name.|||Use Royal Purple once you try it you will throw rocks at everything else!|||You are good either way. With synthetic, you can wait longer between oil changes. If you go with the other one, be sure to be on top of your oil change schedule.
